Biopolyesters

The compostable polyester family includes a set of polymer made from petroleum and chemical structure give them the biodegradation properties ( not to be confused with oxo-degradable). Some monomers will be biobased in years to come.

• Glass transition temperature : -50 à -20°C
• Fusion temperature : 90 à 160°C
• Dégradation température : 240-250°C
• Fusion index : 2-30 g/10 min (190°C / 2,16Kg)
• Tensile modulus : 250-1500 MPa
• Tensile yield strength : 30-50 MPa
• Tensile elongation : 30-300 %
• Impact : 30-60 kJ/m²
